PURPOSE:To provide an optical recording device capable of forming pits of various intervals with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:Recorded data is transformed into interval data at every cycle of an optical disk 24 by an interval data modulator 12 and stored in an interval data storage RAM 14. The prepit of the optical disk 24 is detected by a synchronous system 34 using an optical detector 32 and a synchronous signal is generated so as to specify a timing for irradiating a recording light. A recording light modulator 18 is controlled by a driver 16 based on a signal from the interval data storage RAM 14 for specifying the recording position of a pitset and a recording beam is injected at a specified timing. The recording beam is devided into two by a beam scanning or a interval setter 20 and converged on two different points on the optical disk 24 by a lens 22. The interval between these two points is adjusted by a driver 36 based on a signal from a disk rotary counter 30. |
