PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of the system by individually specifying plural fault suspected devices when the devices become faulty and performing fault recovering operation in a short time. CONSTITUTION:The data processing system of an electronic exchange, an electronic computer, etc., decides fault places according to a diagnosis result obtained by testing a common bus and an input/ output device under the control of a channel controller by a diagnostic program, generates a table 1 by ORing the diagnostic results of all test items (1), (2)... for the same tested devices as to respective tested devices 2-1-2-N according to the diagnostic result, and decides the fault suspected devices by referring to the table and outputs their data. |
