PURPOSE:To shorten a heat treatment time or increase the input quantity of work by restraining the burning of the work caused by the heat of decomposition of a binder in a heat treatment process by phosphoric acid guanidine included in a possitive electrode mixture. CONSTITUTION:A binder such as polyvinyl butyral and dibutyl phthalate, etc., is mixed into active material having a main component of manganese dioxide, and moreover phosphoric acid guanizine ((NH2)2.C=NH.H3PO4) of 0.5-5wt.% is added. This is kneeded and is extrusion-molded to provide a sheet-like positive electrode mixture. Next, the positive electrode mixture is heat-treated to decompose and vaporize the binder for processing to a given shape electrode. |
