PURPOSE:To surely limit current flowing in a heat generating means, even when various troubles develop, and enhance the safety of the device concerned by a method wherein a limiting means for limiting the energizing to the heat generating means, when detected temperature exceeds the predetermined temperature, and, at the same time, a controlling means having the function to control also the energizing to the driving means of the heat generating means are provided. CONSTITUTION:In a recording device equipped with a heat generating means (heater) 78, by the energizing through which heat is generated, a transistor Tr1 energizes the heat generating means 7 in response to inputted driving signal (a). And a transistor Tr2 limits the energizing to the heat generating means 78 in response to temperature detection signal showing that the temperature corresponding to the heat generated in the heat generating means 78 exceeds the predetermined temperature. Further, a control circuit 107 controls the energizing to the heat generating means 78 by the transistor Tr1 in response to temperature detection signal. As a result, the current in the heat generating means is surely limited, even when various troubles occur, resulting in enhancing the safety of the device concerned. |
