PURPOSE: To obtain a receiver terminating unit of a tester for testing a plurality of devices (DUT) to be tested by operating terminating means by a controller, and sending a control signal for providing the terminal for the device to the means. CONSTITUTION: An analog reference controller 310 is connected to many receiver terminating blocks 300 to each other. The controller 310 outputs the terminating voltage as a distributed receiver threshold value programmable for respective pins, RHI and RLO. Address and enable information is transmitted to an integrated sample and hold circuit 360 via a line 334, and the circuit 360 transmits the threshold value levels of RLO and RHI to a terminating block 300 (RTBo to RTBi ). The block 300 is connected at its input 50 to a mounting fixture and PC board 20, and connected to the controller 310 via lines RHIo and RLOo . Eventually, the block 300 transmits the outputs GTH and GTL from a receiver 390 to the receiver. |
