PURPOSE:To obtain fine high polymer particles while controlling their particle diameters at good precision by emulsifying a polyol resin and a polyisocyanate compound in a specified manner and deriving the mean particle diameter of the fine particles according to a specified formula. CONSTITUTION:A process for producing fine high polymer particles comprising a polyurethane and a polyurea resin, wherein the purpose particles are obtained by adjusting the viscosity of a resin mixture comprising a polyol resin and a polyisocyanate compound and/or a urethane prepolymer by adding a dilluent, adjusting the viscosity of a dispersing medium by adding an emulsified and/or a protective colloid, and emulsifying the resin mixture in the dispersing solvent, while deriving the means particle diameter (mum) of the fine high polymer particles according to the correlational formula between the viscosity of the resin mixture and the viscosity of the dispersing solvent (wherein K is a coefficient (2-20), mud is the viscosity of the resin mixture as measured with a Brookfield viscometer at 20 deg.C, and muc is the viscosity of the dispersing solvent as measured with a Brookfield viscometer at 20 deg.C). |
