An improved cable pulling eye (10) including breakaway protection. The cable pulling eye (10) includes a main body (12) having a female end and a second body (16) with a male end (18) which may be inserted together. The bodies (12, 16) are held together by a breakaway pin (40) passing through aligned openings in the main and second body. The pin (40) includes spaced annular grooves as weak points (50, 52) where breakage is limited and will occur. |
