PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of wrinkles causing a defective product by inserting multiple balls on the lower face of a clamp kept in contact with a skin rollably along the shape of the frame of the clamp, bringing part of the balls into contact with the skin, pressing the skin between the balls and the outer periphery of a lower die, and sucking and setting the skin. CONSTITUTION:The outer surface of a skin 14 is temporarily held toward the recess 2 of a lower die 1, a clamp 11 is lowered, and the skin 14 is pinched between balls 12 inserted on the lower face 11a and the outer periphery 3 of the lower die 1. The skin 14 is initially set in the slackless state between the recess 2 of the lower die 1 and the clamp 11, and the balls 12 are fixed by the load applied to the clamp 11. A space formed by a hollow section 4 and the skin 14 is sucked, the clamp 11 is moved upward, and the load applied to the balls 12 and the skin 14 is reduced. The balls 12 are made rollable, and the skin 14 is drawn into the recess 2 while being pulled in the peripheral direction by the clamp 11. |
