PURPOSE:To make an R-Fe-B permanent magnet, which has high magnetic property, by mixing a substance, which is made by roughly smashing R2Fe14B alloy after homogenizing it by heat treatment, and rough powder, which is made by making additive metal occlude hydrogen so as to collapse it, with each other so as to make a material. CONSTITUTION:The fused metal of R2Fe14B in stoichiometrical composition (R is at least one kind among rare earth elements including Y) is roughly smashed after homogenization by heat treatment at 900-1150 deg.C. Next, the fused metal of ReFe100-x-yBy (100>=x>=15at%, 0<=y<=20at%) is collapsed by making it occlude hydrogen and is roughly smashed and made additive metal. Next, these two alloys are mixed so that the composition may be ReFe100-x-yBy (12>=X>=19at%, 5.4<=Y<=8.5at%, 0.4X quantity of R+ quantity of B<13.3at%), and after smashing, it is molded in a magnetic field, and is sintered and aged. A permanent magnet, which has high property where the maximum energy product (BH) is 40MGOe or more at a maximum, by using this method being the manufacture of an Fe-B-R high property magnetic material which has Fe, B, and R (rare earth element) for its main ingredient. |
