PURPOSE:To obtain the photopolymerizable composition high in sensitivity to long wavelength lights, especially, infrared-near infrared rays by incorporating a transition metal complex of a specified substituted phenyliminooxodihydroquinoline as a photopolymerization initiator. CONSTITUTION:The photopolymerizable composition contains the transition metal complex represented by the formula in which each of R1 and R2 is H, halogen, preferably such as Cl or Br, or a univalent substitution group, such as alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, alkoxy, or aryloxy; X is OH or NR3.R4; each of R3 and R4 is H or optionally substituted alkyl; each of R2-R4 may combine with each other to form a ring; (k) is an integer of 1-3; (l) is that of 2 or 3; (m) is that of 1-5; and (n) is that of 1-4. |
