PURPOSE:To select the most suitable method for specification to specify the display area in specifying any display area from among display areas. CONSTITUTION:Data in a document memory 19 is displayed on a CRT display section 4 through display controller 20. In this case, any display areas can be arbitrary specified on the display data to be displayed on the display screen. The specification is made by specifying the head and the end positions of each display area by means of a cursor. The specification makes the specification area reversed and framed at its display on the display screen. Any name can be given to each specified display area and the numerical expression taking the name in the other area as a variable can be set as needed. The set display area, names and numerical expressions are stored in a numerical table 14. When the numerical data is inputted to each display area, the arithmetic operation is performed according to the numerical expression set to the table 14. |
