The present invention relates to a device for disbudding the shoots of vines or other parent wood. The device for disbudding shoots of vines or other parent wood consists of a tubular casing (1) which is driven in rotation along its longitudinal axis and into which the shoot (2) to be disbudded is propelled, and of a cutting tool (5) fixed to the casing (1) and arranged therein, the said cutting tool (5) having a rectilinear cutting edge (8) parallel to the axis of rotation of the casing and spaced apart therefrom. The direction of rotation of the casing (1) corresponds to the engagement of the cutting edge (8) towards the shoot (2), the said shoot (2) being held in a rotationally fixed manner. <IMAGE>
