SAFETY DEVICE FOR GRAIN CONVEYING ELEVATOR AND THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To enable continuous operation by preventing a driving motor of an elevator from falling into an overload condition to the possible minimum level as well as to enable restart easily by eliminating the residual of grains inside of the elevator even when the elevator is stopped since an overload condition can not be released. CONSTITUTION:A grain conveying elevator has a grain supply part in the lower part, and also has a grain sending-out part of raised/conveyed grains in the upper part. A shutter 8 to reduce a grain supply quantity or to cut off supply to an elevator main body 1 is provided in the lower grain supply part. The shutter 8 carries out opening/closing control by means of a control motor 9. In a circuit of a driving motor 4 of the elevator, an over-current cutoff circuit to cut off the circuit when an electric current exceeds the rated maximum electric current of this motor 4 is provided, and a load current increase detecting circuit being operated by an electric current increase by more than a constant electric current being lower than the rated maximum electric current is also provided. An opening of the shutter 8 is set low or the shutter 8 can be closed so that an increase of a load current in the driving motor 9 can be restrained when this load current increase detecting circuit is operated.
