<p>PURPOSE:To simplify a structure by holding the end of recording paper by means of a pair of rollers comprising roller members disposed along the vertical direction and pressed into contact with each other when controlling, moving and driving the recording paper, and providing a driving gear which can be engaged or disengaged in and from a paper feed position and a paper releasing position by means of rocking of arm members. CONSTITUTION:A clamper 70 having a pair 80 of holding rollers comprising an upper roller 81 and a lower roller 82 disposed along the vertical direction and pressed into contact with each other is supported movably along a guide shaft 90 and arms 310 which can rock a gear 304 are supported to both end positions of a movement stroke. A connecting member which meshes with a clamper driving gear 301 provided at the center of rocking of the arms 310 and to which a clamper driving gear 301 is connected is driven by a driving means so that the arms 310 are rocked. The gear 304 is thus engaged with a two-stage gear 77 or a gear 78 and is drivingly rotated so as to drivingly rotate the lower roller 82 of the pair 80 of holding rollers, so as to keep the rollers biting into recording paper to hold the paper or drive the rollers to discharge the paper.</p> |
