PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A PATTERN IN A GLAZE COMPOSITION AND PREPARATION OF MOLD THEREFOR

A patterned glaze composition is provided without the steps of stamping or forming a metal mold to mirror the desired pattern. An at least partially cured fusible enamelling composition is coated onto a metal mold and is patterned by the removal of material therefrom. The patterned enamelling composition is refired, an uncured glaze composition is applied onto it, and the glaze composition is cured. The cured glaze composition and enamelling composition are then separated from each other to provide a glaze composition having the desired pattern.
