BROADCASTING/EXCHANGING DEVICE FOR EXECUTING BROADCASTING/MULTI-REPORT TRANSFER BY INCOHERENT ASYNCHRONOUS EXCHANGING NETWORK

PURPOSE: To provide multi-address/exchange equipment which can solve the competition between multi-address transfer and multi-report transfer between input ports in a standard mode from one output port to one input port or a simultaneous multi-address mode to a partial set of output ports or all output ports. CONSTITUTION: The sets 31-34 and 41-44 of interface lines to input ports 1-4 and output ports 1-4 to a multi-address/exchange device 12 are respectively composed of four data lines and four control lines BRDCAST, VALID, REJECT, and ACCEPT. Each set of the input port interface lines transfers control information to the device 12 for establishing the connection between an input port and an output port. These port interface lines also carry data information transferred to the output ports from the input ports by means of the device 12.
