PURPOSE:To obtain the antenna having circular polarized wave characteristics to all the directions, by supplying current having the phase difference of 90 deg. to the sleeve antenna consisting of the sleeve having slots and the pole antenna element and to the slot antenna. CONSTITUTION:The pole antenna element 1B is provided in the folded sleeve 1A coaxially and the tip is projected upward from the tip of the sleeve 1A to constitute the vertical polarized wave sleeve antenna 1. The slot 2A is provided to the sleeve 1A to constitute the horizontal polarization cylinder slot antenna 2. The antennas 1, 2 are provided on the same axial line to make different the phase of the feeding current of the antenna 1 from the phase of that of the antenna 2 by 90 deg. and to make equal the output of electromagnetic waves. Thus, the antenna having circular polarization characteristics to all the directions as the entire antenna unit 3 can be obtained. |
