PURPOSE:To improve the frequency of using the transaction card by providing multiple data recording areas recording enterprise codes different from each other. CONSTITUTION:Domestic enterprise codes as well as data are recorded on a magnetic stripe 2 formed at the right side of a card 1. International enterprise codes as well as data are recorded on a magnetic stripe 3. A four-character enterprise code 12 is used to identify the company issuing the card, comprising a domestic enterprise code. An enterprise code 21 is also used to identify a card issuing company, comprising an international enterprise code. Thus, different enterprise codes are recorded on the transaction card and it is made possible to deal with card issuing companies with the single transaction card, resulting in increasing the using frequency of transaction cards. |
