PURPOSE:To always secure stable coupling force without receiving external influence under each environment by coupling and end part engaging member to the end of a cylinder by completely bending and inserting the end part of the cylinder into the recessed part to be inserted in the cylindrical end part of the end part engaging member. CONSTITUTION:A gear or a flange 1 is inserted and fitted to a cylinder 3 along the fitting outside diameter of the gear or the flange 1. Then, from the external peripheral part of the cylinder 3, by shaped abutting members 4 having an acute tip each are brought into contact with the external peripheral surface of the cylinder 3 at four places in the peripheral direction of the gear or the flange 1. The members 4 are advanced from this contact point toward the inner part of the gear or the flange 4 by a certain fixed amt. Therefore, the end part of the cylinder 3 is completely shorn and a shorn surface adheres closely to the shape to the recessed part 2. Consequently, backlashes, looseness, etc., are prevented from being generated in the rotating direction and the axial direction of a drum and higher coupling force can be secured. |
