PURPOSE:To obtain a film especially excellent in stretching properties under low tension and hardly generating a pinhole or crack at the time of stretching under heating by using an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer compsn. satisfying a specific formula and containing a specific amount of ethylene. CONSTITUTION:A heat-shrinkable film or multilayered film suitable for packing food such as processed animal meat satisfies formula (i) [wherein T(1) is the peak temp. on the highest temp. side of EVOH, T(2) is the peak temp. on the lowest temp. side and t(l) is the peak temp. originating from T(1), T(2) of EVOH when EVOH is treated with a basic solvent] and is composed of at least one ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) layer and shows an area shrinkage factor of 10% or more when the film is immersed in hot water for 1min at 90 deg.C. j In the formula (i), in the case of T(1)=T(2) and t(1)=t(2), 1<=¦t(1)-T(1)¦<=20 is formed. T(1) is max. high peak temperature of EVH. T(2) is min. low peak temperature. t(1) is peak temperature caused by T(1) and T(2) when EVH is treated with basic solvent. |
