FOAMABLE STYRENE RESIN PARTICLE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain foamable styrene resin particles which suffer no blocking before and during prefoaming and give prefoamed particles which have a low water content, an excellent mold-filling property, and good fusibility even when placed near a mold wall having a small thickness, and thus give a foamed styrene resin molding less apt to fracture. CONSTITUTION:A trackifier resin which is nontacky at room temp. but is tacky at 50-120 deg.C is adhered to the surface of styrene resin particles impregnated with a foaming agent to thereby produce the title particles.
