PURPOSE:To provide a retainer type sealed clad type lead-acid battery, which has the excellent discharging performance, at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:In a sealed clad type lead-acid battery, clad type positive electrode plates and paste type negative electrode plates are laminated mutually through flat-shape liquid-holding separators to form a plate group. The plate group are compressed at a compression degree of 40kg/dm<2> or higher, and the liquid-holding separator is mainly made of glass fiber having a mean fiber diameter at 0.4 micron or less. |
