<p>PURPOSE:To provide the tape running device which facilitates setting operation regarding tension control over a tape. CONSTITUTION:First tension T1, second tension T2, and section length L3 being parameter information regarding the tension control over the tape are inputted through an input means 7. A reference signal generating means 6 calculates and finds reference tension according to the parameter information which is inputted through the input means and information on the running distance of the tape which is outputted from a distance detecting means 8, generates a tension reference signal corresponding to the found reference tension, and outputs the signal to a tension control means 5. The tension control means 5 compares the detection result of a tension detecting means 4 with the tension reference signal from the reference signal generating means 6 and controls a supply mechanism 2 and a take-up mechanism 3 so that the tension detected by the tension detecting means 4 reaches the reference tension corresponding to the reference tension signal, thereby making the tape running stably.</p> |
