<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a cell switch from which a cell is sent simultaneously to plural destinations. CONSTITUTION:When a cell of a fixed length comprising a header part and an information part is inputted to any of input ports 30-3n-2 or a control input port 5 and a single output port is designated by the header part of the inputted cell, the cell is outputted to the designated output port. When plural output ports are designated by the header part of the inputted cell, the cell is outputted to the control output port 6. A multi-cast control section 2 copies the cell outputted from the control output port 6 of a switch section 1 by number of output ports designated by the header part and the header part of each cell to be copied is revised to the designation of the single output port and the result is fed to the control input port 5 of the switch section 1.</p> |
