<p>A reflective road stud is generally rectangular in plan view, having a generally flat top surface (6) and a generally flat bottom surface (8) larger than the top surface, inclined faces (10) extending between the top and base surfaces. The inclined faces on the longer sides of the stud are provided with reflective members in conventional manner, and provided on the side faces of shorter dimension, recesses (18) are provided to enable an operator to grip the stud easily between thumb and forefinger and place it against the ground when the stud is to be adhesively secured to a road surface. Preferably the stud is provided with formations to enable an operator to determine the orientation of the stud, in poor visibility. <IMAGE></p> |
