PURPOSE:To enable molten resin extruded from a forming die to be cooled at both sides simultaneously effectively not being affected by air gaps and being irrespective of the thickness of a sheet or film. CONSTITUTION:A pair of cooling plates 11, 14 are provided in the vicinity of a forming die 1. and the gap between the both cooling plates is made to permit the sheet or film 2 extruded from the die to pass therethrough, and making the positions of the both cooling plates 11, 14 shift to each other, a plurality of grooves 19 normal to the flow direction of the sheet or film are formed, thereby providing alternately contact parts and non-contact escaping parts of the sheet or film to the cooling surface of the cooling plates. |
