PURPOSE:To obtain a detergent composition which is lowly irritating and excellent in foaming properties, easiness of rinsing and conditioning effect after drying by mixing an acylalkyl taurate anionic surfactant with two specified amphoteric surfactants and a cationic surfactant. CONSTITUTION:This detergent composition comprises an anionic surfactant (a) of formula I, an amphoteric surfactant (b) of formula II or III, an amphoteric surfactant (c) of formula IV or V and a cationic surfactant (d) of formula VI, wherein the total amount of components (a), (b) and (c) is 10-30wt.%, the amount of component (d) is 0.05-1.0wt.%, and the weight ratio of the amount of component (a) to the total weight of components (b) and (c) is 7/1 to 1/4. In the above formulas, R<1>CO is 10-22C aliphatic acyl or the like; M<1> is an alkali metal or the like; R<3>CO and R<4>CO are each 10-22C aliphatic acyl; M<2> and M<3> are each an alkali metal or the like; R<8>CO is 10-22C aliphatic acyl or the like; and R<2>, R<5>, R<6> and R<9> to R<11> are each alkyl or the like. |
