PURPOSE:To maintain the weight of products constant even when there is dispersion in the bulk specific gravity of prefoamed particles by computing the bulk specific gravity of the prefoamed particles used for foam molding and adjusting the quantity of cracking for air escape in each front and rear mold in response to the result of the computation. CONSTITUTION:A cavity (c) is parted in an intermediate section under a mold- clamped state in a front mold (a) and a rear mold (b). The rear mold (b) is moved by a moving mechanism (e). The inside of the cavity (c) is supplied with prefoamed particles by a feeder (f). In said constitution, the quantity (d) of cracking for air escape of each mold (a), (b) keeping the weight of the filling of the cavity (c) with the prefoamed particles constant is arithmetically operated by an arithmetic means (g) on the basis of the information of the measurement of bulk specific gravity in the prefoamed particles introduced to the feeder (f). The drive of the moving mechanism (e) is controlled by a control means (h) so as to adjust the quantity of cracking (d) in response to an arithmetic result. Accordingly, the weight of the products of molded forms is maintained constantly even when there is dispersion in the bulk specific gravity of the prefoamed particles. |
