<p>PURPOSE:To prevent float-up of a plate-like filter in a molten metal filtering device and to improve the changeability. CONSTITUTION:In the filtering device using the plate-like filter in which the optional shaped through-hole 5 is formed at a horizontal bottom wall 4 of a molten metal charging chamber 2 in a filtering furnace 1 and the plate-like filter 7 is fitted into the through-hole 5 from the upper part and the lower side of this plate-like filter 7 is made to be a molten metal discharging chamber 8, a ceramic-made vertical drawing up body 11 is fitted in the plate filer 7 so as to be freely rotatably and the lower end of this drawing up body 11 is formed to a projection 12 bent sideward after passing through the plate-like filter 7 and, at the time of rotating the drawing up body 11, this projection 12 is engaged with the lower surface of the horizontal bottom wall 4 to prevent the float-up of the plate-like filter.</p> |
