PURPOSE: To provide a winding type foot mat having the durability equal to that of a mat totally made of aluminum, a low manufacturing cost, and high durability and generating no rattling sound at the time of walking. CONSTITUTION: Rail members 10 are formed by the concurrent extrusion of a rigid polymer material and a shrinkable polymer material, and a tread 12 support web portion is made of a rigid material. Each rail member 10 has at least two leg portions of the rigid material suspended from the bottom of the tread 12 support web portion. The leg portions are laterally separated from each other to have practically the same spread as that of the tread 12 support web portion, and they stably support the tread 12 support web portion on some surface. Each rail member 10 has cushion portions made of a shrinkable material on the bottoms of the leg portions. The joint portion of each rail member 10 is practically made of a rigid material and has a bulb shape, and each joint member 14 has a web portion and a socket portion continued in the longitudinal direction on each side of the web portion. |
