A cleat 10 for decorative borders 14, 14' which are intended to cover, from underneath, rails 26, 28 which are preferably at right angles to each other or arranged in parallel and form part of a support for false ceiling panels. The false ceiling panels rest against the rails, which preferably have a T-shape profile. The rails 26, 28 are suspended from a roof, the horizontal profile part 30, which is intended to support the false ceiling panels, facing downwards. The cleat 10 itself comprises a base plate 12, 12' from whose surface facing the roof, which surface at least partly forms a support for the borders 14, 14', there project at least two spring legs 22, 22'. These are intended to engage around opposite side edges of the horizontal profile part 30 of the rails for the purpose of fixing the cleat 10 relative to the support frame. <IMAGE> |
