Brush-storage system, in which an elastic, preferably conical body is mounted on a lid on a pot; in this assembly, a brush can be fitted through an opening which is formed in the conical body, which lid and conical body can together be mounted on a pot containing liquid. The conical body, the lid and the pot are each connected to one another in an inherently (virtually) gas-tight and therefore also liquid-tight manner. The fact that the conical body surrounds the brush in a sealed manner results in a gas-tight and liquid-tight brush-storage system.
