PURPOSE:To improve the max optical density and the S/N ratio after preservation by mounting a layer contg. at least one kind of a compd. selected from the group comprising a photosensitive silver halide, a binder, etc., and a specified compd. on a supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The layer contg. at least one kind of the compd. selected from the group comprising the photosensitive silver halide, the binder, an electron transfer agent, an electron supplying body, a dye supplying compd. to be reduced which is capable of releasing a diffusible dye by the reduction with the electron supplying body, and the compd. shown by formulas I and II, is mounted on the supporting body. In formulas I and II, M is hydrogen atom or an alkaline metal atom, R1 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon group, a heterocyclic ring group, etc., R2 and R3 are each hydrogen atom or an aromatic hydrocarbon group, etc. Namely, the generation of a fag in the sensitive material without injuring the sensitivity is prevented by incorporating the compd. shown by formulas I and II in the sensitive material. Thus, a positive image having the max. optical density of the sensitive material is obtd., and the S/N ratio of the sensitive material after preservation is improved. |
