A rolling bearing seal assembly (1) with a built-in sensor (2); the bearing (3) comprising a first ring (4) rotating in relation to a second ring (5), and a number of rolling bodies (6) interposed between the first ring (4) and the second ring (5) and housed in a chamber (8) defined between the two rings (4, 5); and the seal assembly (1) comprising at least one shielding element (11) for closing the chamber (8) and located facing the chamber (8) and outside the bearing (3), and at least one sensor (2) housed inside a seat (12) formed inside the shielding element (11).
