Quick clamping device for wishbone boom of sailboard - has lever to pull clamp tightly around mast via two half shells

The wishbone boom of the sailing rig of a sailboard is attached to the mast by a quick clamoing device. The quick clamping device is attached to the support tube (1) of the boom by means of two half shells (2) which are clamped to the tube by screws. These shells support a clamp consisting of two pivoted curved links (6) and a T bolt (4) pivoted to the outer end of the outer link. The shells also support a short shaft (3) which can be rotated by an attached lever (5). The shaft has a recess which engages the head of the T bolt (4) so that as the lever (5) is actuated and the shaft (3) is rotated, the clamp is pulled lightly around the mast. USE - Sailboards.
