The invention relates to a device for transporting objects, particularly articles of clothing (7), suspended from clothes hangers (6). This device comprises a body (1) with a U-shaped cross-section, made from a semi-rigid material such as corrugated cardboard, this body ending in two open ends, corresponding to cross-sections of the body in planes substantially perpendicular to the base of the U, one of these ends being intended to rest by its edges on any support, with the side walls (2, 3) of the body, that is to say the base and the side arms of the U, disposed perpendicularly with respect to this support, whilst the other end is capped by a detachable cover (8) of complementary shape, also made from a semi-rigid material such as corrugated cardboard, the edges of the body capped by this cover each comprising a notch (4) in which a detachable rigid rod (5), intended to support the clothes hangers (6) and disposed parallel with the base of the U, is supported. <IMAGE>
