<p>This invention relates to a tape loading mechanism of a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus. In order to keep sufficient locating accuracy of a tape guide in both loading and unloading states, a tape guide arm (58) is moved in an interlocking manner with the rotation of rotary arms (41, 42) for moving a pair of guide post members (7, 8), the movement of this tape guide arm (58) is stopped by a check member (60) at a predetermined position of a magnetic tape travelling path and there is disposed a biasing member (54) for pressing the tape guide arm (58) to the check member (60). The invention is effective in that locating accuracy of a tape guide (17) mounted to the tape guide arm (58) can be kept on a high level. The invention can be used for a digital tape recorder and a VTR.</p> |
