METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MOLDING CASTING MOLD

PURPOSE: To make it possible to mold a mold having a satisfactory mold contour and homogeneous quality in a short cycle time. CONSTITUTION: Molding material 15 of an amount sufficient for coating at least the surface of a pattern is sieved and classified in a packing tank 2 before hand-over to a molding flask or during the hand-over for the purpose of preceding molding and is handed over as a sieve fraction to the molding flask. The remaining amount thereof is directly handed over as the residue on the sieve into the molding flask. The packing tank 2, therefore, has the sieve 10 for detaining the molding material 15 and moving devices 13 and 14 for slackening the molding material 15 and the sieve 10 is made movable to the position where the residue 17 on the sieve is handed over into the molding flask.
