METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A PARTICULAR ROUTE USING CANCEL FROM FUNCTION

The method controls traffic which causes overload to a certain route to prevent from detour through detour routes using a cancel from CANF function so that overload of other exchanges caused by the traffic is reduced. The method comprises the steps of: (A) processing CANF release request sent from an operator; (B) processing CANF registering and CANF change request sent from an operator; (C) processing CANF data output request sent from an operator; and (D) processing input call signal. The announcements to a transmitter are No circuit Available (NCA), Emergence Announcement 1, and Emergence Announcement 2 (EA2) which ae selected according to traffic limit ratio determined by combining call gapping basis and percent basis.
