PURPOSE:To efficiently collect data without making meterman's rounds for inspection of meter. CONSTITUTION:This data communication system consists of a meter 1 for storing data, a communicating equipment 2 for converting the data stored in the meter 1 into a radio wave signal and transmitting the signal and a management center 3 for receiving the radio wave signal transmitted from the equipment 2, decoding the signal into data and collecting and managing the decoded data. The meter 1 is connected to the equipment 2 through power line carrier MODEMs 11, 21 and a power line 10 and data stored in the meter 1 are periodically sent to the equipment 2 by power line carrying using the power line 10. |
