摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a wow and flutter measuring device which can be easily mounted on a rotating body, the object to be measured, with high detecting accuracy and which is small, light, and cheap. CONSTITUTION:A vibrating gyroscope 8 is mounted and fixed on a rotating body. Piezoelectric elements 12a to 12b are arranged on two adjacent surfaces of an equilateral triangle column and a piezoelectric element 13 for feedback is arranged on the other surface in the vibrating gyroscope 8. The piezoelectric elements 12a to 12b are used commonly for both excitation and detection, and the exciting signal from an oscillation circuit 14 is applied to the piezoelectric elements 12a to 12b to vibrate an oscillator 12 in the 'x' direction. When a rotational irregurality takes place in the rotating body, an inertia force generates in 'y' direction, one side of the piezoelectric elements 12a to 12b is subjected to a force in their elongation direction and the other side in their contraction direction due to the resultant force of the vibrational force in 'x' direction and the inertia force, so that a signal corresponding to the rotational irregularity is taken out from the piezoelectric elements 12a to 12b and is differentially-amplified in a detecting circuit 15, and subsequently the differentially- amplified signal is modulated by a modulating circuit 16, and it is transmitted by a radio transmitter 11.
