PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of the operation of a fan by detecting the short-circuit of a fan sense signal to GND. CONSTITUTION:A control part 1 outputs a drive signal 37 to a fan 36 to drive the fan 36. The fan 36 has an operation detecting means judging whether the fan is normally operated and the operation detecting means outputs a fan sense signal 33 of 'L' to the control part 1 when the fan is normally driven and outputs a fan sense signal 33 of 'H' to the control part 1 when the fan is stopped or abnormal. The control part 1 detects the fan sense signal 33 in such a state that the driving signal 37 is turned OFF to check a short-circuit. Further, the fan sense signal 33 is detected in such a state that the driving signal 37 is turned ON to check an alarm to judge whether the fan 36 is normally operated. Therefore, the short-circuit of the fan sense signal 33 can be checked independently of the checking of the alarm of the fan 36. |
