PURPOSE:To produce an inexpensive lightweight curved decorative panel by using a flat wooden panel as a core material. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 3 is formed by bonding a flexible sheet to a wooden flat panel 10 and mutually parallel cut grooves 11 are formed to the flat panel 10 at a predetermined interval. Thereafter, the substrate 3 is curved in the direction crossing the cut grooves 11 at a right angle and temporarily fastened to the protruding part 13 having a pillar surface of a protruding mold 12 on the side of the flexible sheet 2. Then, a recessed mold 17 equipped with a recessed part 16 having a pillar surface is covered with the protruding mold 12 and a synthetic resin fluid 20 is injected in the cavity 18 formed between the recessed mold 17 and the substrate 3 and subsequently cured to detach a curved decorative panel 1 from both molds 12, 17. By this constitution, the curved decorative panel having high dimensional accuracy and hard to generate a secular change can be produced. |
