PURPOSE:To lower the protruding height of a buckle without changing the pull-down quantity of the buckle so as to attain compactness by disposing a slider, connected to the buckle, in the state of being offset from a guide plate and also in the overlapped state. CONSTITUTION:The buckle 21 of a safety belt is connected to a slider 8, and the ratchet tooth part 4 of a latch 5 is also connected to the slider 8. The ratchet tooth part 4 is energized by a pin 6 and engaged with a ratchet tooth part 3 formed at the guide groove 2 of a guide plate 1 connected to a vehicle body, and the slider 8 is pulled down at the colliding time of the vehicle. The buckle 21 is disposed being offset from the guide plate 1 and also in the overlapped state. The buckle 21 can thereby descend without colliding with the guide plate 1, and the protruding height of the buckle 21 can be lowered by the overlapped length part so as to be made compact unforcibly. |
