PURPOSE:To provide an agitation system which can give fine polymer particles of a very sharp particle diameter distribution when applied to the emulsification/ dispersion/granulation process. CONSTITUTION:An agitator to be used in emulsification/dispersion/granulation or suspension polymerization and manufactured by attaching a turbine 5 to the lower end of a turbine shaft 4 extended from a drive 13 and having a turbine stirrer 3 formed by surrounding the turbine 5 with a casing 8 having a liquid suction inlet on the lower position of the turbine and a liquid outlet on the upper part of the turbine in an agitation tank 1, wherein the upper part of the casing of the turbine stirrer is provided with a cylindrical body 9 elongated in the direction of the turbine shaft. |
