<p>An engine for an automobile having a non-ignition area that differs between in an idling state and non-idling state wherein the non-ignition area is altered effectively in response to operating conditions of an air-conditioner switch, a power steering switch and a throttle opening sensor to prevent the occurrence of an engine stall or the like, as well as narrowing of the non-ignition area, thereby making it possible to improve fuel consumption and drivability.</p> |
