OPERATING HANDLE AND INTERLOCKING DEVICE OF BREAKER

PURPOSE: To provide an operational handle interlocking device capable of locking the operational handle of circuit breaker in off position when the contact point of the circuit breaker is separated. CONSTITUTION: A handle interlocking device 20 is mounted on the upper surface of a manual operational handle 19 and when the contact of a circuit breaker is in a practically closed state, the handle prevents itself from being in its 'OFF' position. A handle cover 21 is placed in hinge connection to a circuit breaker cover 14 and on the side wall facing to the handle cover 21, a pair of openings are provided. The positions of these openings are so determined as preventing a padlock 25 from making its insertion in the opening in relation to the operational handle 19 when the device handle is in 'ON' position.
