PURPOSE:To display a stereoscopic shape model accompanying quality in a short time without interposing an operator by recognizing a symbol by a recognizing means and displaying a plane designated by the symbol of the stereoscopic shape model with quality corresponding to the recognized result. CONSTITUTION:Concerning the stereoscopic shape modeling system to generate and display the stereoscopic shape model from plural drawings, a recognizing means 11 recognizes the symbol expressing the material, structure and design or the like of an object described in the drawing, and the plane designated by the symbol of the stereoscopic shape model is displayed with quality corresponding to the recognized result on a display device 2. In this case, the quality is expressed by overlapping the graphic pattern of a picture pattern corresponding to the symbol onto that part. On the other hand, the quality is expressed by being changed into a color or luminance corresponding to the symbol. Thus, the stereoscopic shape model accompanying quality can be displayed in a short time without interposing the operator, and operability is improved. |
