The revolution rate detector contains a pulse transducer ring (6) mounted on the fixed or rotatable ring (2,3) of a roller bearing. A press seated ring (8) is mounted on the other ring with the transducer ring inside the press seated ring. A sensor housing unit (11) is in one piece with the press seated ring and filled with setting resin in which is embedded a sensor. A sensor element (16) fits in an aperture (13) in the press seated ring opposite the pulse transducer ring. The space between the press seated and rotatable rings is sealed by a sealing device. USE/ADVANTAGE - E.g. for use with bearings for vehicle wheels in anti-lock brake system. The sensor is of simple design, easy to assemble and has high shock resistance.
