PURPOSE:To provide a transfer recording apparatus removing the dust adhered to an ink sheet to keep a high-grade printing image. CONSTITUTION:In a transfer recording apparatus wherein a recording head 2 is brought into contact with a platen roll 1 under pressure through an ink sheet 8 coated with ink and recording paper 3 and the ink of the ink sheet 8 fed at the same speed as the recording paper 4 is transferred to the recording paper 4, an air stream spraying means 11 spraying an air stream B to the ink sheet 8 immediately before the ink sheet 8 enters the gap between the recording head 2 and the platen roller 1 is provided to blow off the dust adhered to the ink sheet 8 immediately before transfer.
